Waste planning and permitting

Environmental permits became mandatory in 2008 for a wide range of industrial installations and processes as a result of the Environmental Permitting Regulations 2007. These supersede the Waste Management Licensing Regulations 1994 and the Pollution Prevention Control Regulations 2000.

Planning applications are also required for most new waste management installations.

We offer support and technical services to facilitate waste management initiatives at all stages of feasibility, planning and operation through to end of life, permit surrender, onward sale and purchase. Our main services include:

  • Market research
  • Stakeholder negotiation
  • Preparation of planning applications
  • Development of working plans
  • Environmental permit applications
